Simply the best stuff I have yet understood about visual creative process
Hey guys, love the intro for the tools. I was just wondering what a sham was exactly, and where I can buy it.
thanks :)
Thanks, "admin" :-) Wasn't able to find anything on the aselart site but I did, after a lot of clicking, find it on Blick: http://www.dickblick.com/zz515/22/
I'm very much enjoying this class. I'm an established abstract painter but, other than the equivalent of scribbling and doodling, I haven't drawn in many, many years. I appreciate starting with the basics about the difference between graphite and charcoal; different types of charcoal and what they are used for; how to hold a pencil to achieve specific line qualities and exercises to build (or bring back) memory tracks in the brain that align the eye, brain, arm, wrist and fingers. Great stuff!
We purchased the art horse at a local art store here in Dallas www.aselart.com
First thing I want to know is where did Ron get that portable 'art horse'? I've googled various possibilities and so far have not found anything like it. I have a portable easel but I've never seen one of these portable drawing benches before.
good work.
Got the video to work...great teacher!
Really excellent. Enjoyed it very much and absolutely did learn stuff that I can put into practice. PS. The volume is just fine. Karin
Cool artist, well taught class. 5 stars!
