Rob Sheppard
Editor-at-large of the prestigious Outdoor Photographer magazine, Rob Sheppard has been a long-term photographer working in publications and for businesses for over 30 years. He is an internationally known speaker and workshop leader. Rob is the author/photographer of over 20 books, including the Computer Photography Handbook, Beginner's Guide to Digital Imaging for Photographers, and Adobe Camera Raw for Digital Photographers Only. Rob has had a nationally recognized commitment to helping photographers with digital imaging technology. Among a small group, Rob started PCPhoto magazine 10 years ago. As editor of PCPhoto he brought the digital world to photographers.
As a photographer, Rob worked for many years in Minnesota, he did work for the Minnesota Department of Transportation, Norwest Banks (now Wells Fargo), Pillsbury, 3M, General Mills, Lutheran Brotherhood, Ciba-Geigy, Anderson Windows, and others. His photography has been published in many magazines, ranging from National Geographic to The Farmer.
A writer for Outdoor Photographer, Ron writes a digital photography column,Digital Horizons. Teaching around the country, Rob has led workshops for the Palm Beach Photographic Centre, Santa Fe Workshops and the Great American Workshops group.
