Shellie Hall

Shellie is a recognized specialist in many phases of the printing & publishing industry. During her 20 years in the biz, she has done everything from traditional paste-up and film stripping to high-end computer-to-plate workflows. Her specialties lie within creative application training, print production, color management and typography. Shellie currently has her own consulting company, Ducktype Digital (www.ducktype.com) and produces “Get Creative” a weekly Creative News Videocast for CreativePro.com in addition to being a contributing author. She is also a relentless, always suffering, never-stop-believing, die-hard Cubs Fan (heaven help her).

Previously, Shellie was a Product Marketing Manager at Quark. She has also worked with Capps Digital, RR Donnelley & Sons, Fujifilm and Mail-Well. Shellie is also a frequent speaker at high-profile industry events such as: Macworld, MacExpo, HOW Design Conference, Seybold Events, Folio Show, Graph Expo, C.A.S.E., DRUPA, CMA, P3 and IGAEA. She is also a contributing author to the recently released “Real World QuarkXPress 7”.
